TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)

Made from 100% soya beans, this plain mince textured vegetable protein (TVP) is packed full of protein and a perfect meat substitute for vegetarians and vegans.
Ingredients: soya
Instructions: Soak for 10-15 minutes until the mince is rehydrated before adding to the dish. 2. For dishes with more liquid (Bolognese, curries etc), there is no need to pre-soak. The mince will rehydrate as it cooks.
As the mince is plain, do think about how you will add depth of flavour - wine, herbs, dried mushrooms etc.
