At Replenish Refills we want to do more than just help you to shop more sustainably. That’s why we are also a Donation Station!

You can bring the following items to us to be re-used, re-purposed, recycled for charity or donated to charity:

  • Community Pet Food Bank

    Pet food

We are a donation point for the Community Pet Food Bank. They are a local, family-run organisation, set up in response to the ongoing financial crisis.

They work with local animal charities, food banks and directly with individuals who find themselves needing a bit of additional support to feed the animals in their care.

You can bring your donations to me at the markets or during my Doorstep Refills. They also have an Amazon Wishlist (it’s a pinned post on their Facebook page) if you want to help that way.

  • Plastic Bottle Tops

    Plastic Bottle Tops

Gotta a lotta bottle tops? We want them!

A customer’s school are taking part in the SchoolCycled scheme. They'd love your help in collecting as many plastic bottle tops as possible! The good news is that these can be ANY type of plastic bottle top, not just from milk bottles.

The school earns rewards for the number of tops they collect, and those rewards will buy them equipment for their school - made out of the recycled plastic bottle tops. As well as that, the children will spend time learning about the plastic pollution issue and how they can do their bit. How cool is that?!

    Let's get collecting!

  • Postage Stamps

    Postage Stamps

We are supporting the Bone Cancer Research Trust with our stamp collecting.

By saving just 1kg of stamps we can help fund one hour of their life-saving research!

So, if you’ve got a birthday, anniversary or special event coming up that means you'll be getting more personalised post than usual, please can you save the postage stamps for us!

Simply cut (or carefully tear) the stamp off the envelope, making sure to leave approximately 1cm of envelope bordering the stamp, then bring them along next time you are shopping with us.

  • Photo of Prescription glasses

    Prescription glasses

Got old prescription glasses or sunglasses lying around?

I'm pleased to announce that we are now a donation station for these, on behalf of Hinckley and Burbage Lions Club!

The glasses must be intact and can be standard, bifocal, varifocal or trifocal.

(Please do not include cases or cloths).

The glasses are graded and shipped around the world to people that need them 🙂

So, rummage in your drawers folks! We have a special bin for them that I'll keep near the back doors of Katy the Van.

  • Printer Cartridge Recycling

    Printer Cartridges

45 million printer ink cartridges end up in landfill in the UK every year!

Well now you can bring your used printer cartridges to us for recycling. They will be refilled where possible, recycled where not. In the process, we will also be raising money for The Woodland Trust, so it's a definite win for the environment!

Just drop your used cartridges off when you shop with us.

Check the list here to see if we can recycle your cartridges.

  • Wax

    Wax

What do you do with the last bits of your candles (or candles you don't like...)? Well, from now on you can bring them to us!

That's right, bring us your old candle wax and we'll pass it on to Eco Em. Em is a self-confessed eco-warrior, which is what inspired her to start her own business in the first place. She uses old candle wax, mixed with a fresh batch of soy wax to make her scented candles. Much better than it going to waste!

She accepts tea lights and wax melts as well as regular candle wax. If you are struggling to get the wax out of the container, just bring that along too and we’ll recycle it once we’ve got the wax out!
